Educated at the University of Michigan and the London College of Furniture, Kathleen Wills has held creative positions at numerous design firms in New York. At Dansk International Designs, she was responsible for the coordination of dinnerware design, development and project management in the USA, Europe and Japan. As senior designer with Milton Glaser, Inc. Wills was instrumental in the redesign of the Rockefeller Center’s Rainbow Room. She also held the position of senior designer with marketing communications firm Designframe in NYC. Since the founding of her studio in 1990, Wills has focused on the design of products, furniture, and architectural spaces. Her clients include Hanna Andersson, Land of Nod, and Crate & Barrel, for whom she has designed numerous successful collections of furniture and dinnerware including Staccato, Crate & Barrel’s best-selling dinnerware pattern.
